The Abused Child Trust provides therapy services to children and families that have been affected by abuse and neglect. We are raising funds to expand these services which will enable us to help more children in the community.
How will the funds be used?
Money raised will assist with the provision of counselling services to the community from self referrals and outside referrals from other NGO's and the development and distribution/delivery of education programmes in schools.
Key areas of expenditure for funds donated:
Development of programme that can be delivered to students creating awareness of abuse and how they can manage this and who to turn to for help
Costs to deliver this programme into schools
Costs associated with a counsellor who will have skills in both sexual abuse counselling and other areas of abuse.
