What is this appeal for?
Bravehearts Inc. does important work to prevent the sexual assault of children and to aid in the recovery of children who have already fallen victim.
In the defence of children......
As we are a volunteer based, non-government funded organisation, we urgently
need money to support our various important services such as face to face
professional counselling, telephone counselling and support, running much
needed community awareness/public education programs, and advocacy, including
legislative review and reform.
Bravehearts Inc. is determined to maintain our independence, where we
can speak openly, honestly and forthrightly without fear, favour or
compromise in defence of children - every time, without fail,
no excuses - never ever.
Key areas of expenditure for funds donated:
- Professional crisis intervention counselling for children who have been sexually abused.
- Public Awareness and community education
- Ditto's Keep Safe Adventure, children's educational CD-Rom and mobile education unit.
