Who will get my $1 per card donation?
You can choose any community group, school or kindergarten in Australia to receive your donation. If you need help finding a group, you can check Our Community's Directory of Community Organisations at www.ourcommunity.com.au/directory.
Please be as specific as you can when naming your recipient group so we can ensure the right group gets your donation.
If you don't wish to nominate a specific group, we'll pass your $1 per card donation on to five chosen environmentally focussed groups: Australian Conservation Foundation, Conservation Volunteers, Keep Australia Beautiful, Landcare Australia and Rainforest Rescue. Donations from all non-specific orders will be pooled and the proceeds split between those five groups.
When will the community groups receive the donations?
We will distribute donations to the appropriate groups via cheque in February 2010.
When will I receive my cards?
Cards usually go to print within 48 hours of being ordered (if you want to view a proof before printing it may take a little longer).
Printed cards are sent via regular post and should arrive within 5-10 working days of your order. Cards for WA and NT orders will be delivered via Express Post.
What if I get the wrong cards?
We will do everything in our power to ensure this doesn't happen. If you have any concerns, do let us know by emailing service@ourcommunity.com.au or calling (03) 9320 6800.
What if my cards don't arrive?
Please allow 5-10 business days for your cards to arrive. If you have any concerns, do let us know by emailing service@ourcommunity.com.au or calling (03) 9320 6800.

How can my community group/school/kindergarten raise money through this initiative?
Community groups and schools can use the Giving Cards initiative as an easy end-of-year fundraiser.
Step One: Send an email or letter to your staff, members, donors and business contacts asking them to consider sending Giving Cards instead of commercial Christmas cards this year. Attach the order form (download it by clicking here) and ask your contacts to nominate your group as the recipient of their $1-per-card donation. See below for some suggested text.
