To provide supported accommodation for at-risk 16-24 yr olds and their accompanying children. We take in singles and young families from at-risk situations and privde them with accommodation and casew-work support for up to two years. Our goal is to move young people away from homelessness and towards safe, independent living. Due to the increase in domestic violence and lack of affordalbe housing, our clientele is moving more towards young single women and their children. We work extensively with DoCS and other community organisations to provide resources and support to these young women and early-intervention for their children. Parenting and living skills, work orientation and education are a large part of our program.
