We have Cricket Victoria accreditation as a Milo 'Have-A-Go' Centre for primary school aged girls and boys and also offer a range of other opportunities for under-age cricket fans. An innovation of 'Anklbytr Sports Development', the club's unique 'Anklbytr Cricket' is an ideal introduction to match play and is designed to prepare girls and boys for our modified rules under 10 team. The Anklbytr Programme takes the form of a 'Six-A-Side' series but is flexible enough to accommodate almost any team size. It also teaches players the proper use and care of safety and other cricket equipment while introducing them to the basic team concept.

Under 10 Cricket is a modified rules introduction to competition cricket and utilizes the full range of fielding positions. This programme fine tunes skills such as running between wickets and fielding while providing a fun low pressure environment for all team members to fully participate. Under 12 cricket is the first real taste of competition although rules are still modified to some extent to ensure maximum participation by all players. Additionally the club provides competition opportunities for under 14, under 16, open age and veteran players. All home games of the Blackburn North Cricket Club are played at Koonung Reserve, Heppner st Blackburn North (Melway: 47.K6).
