DonorTec launched in 2008, has already saved the nonprofit sector 12.5 million dollars by end of October 2008. There is a small program administration fee for this service to cover costs. e.g. Microsoft Office Professional 2007 for $24ex
There are eligibility criteria for the program all detailed on the website www.donortec.com.au. The two main criteria are:
- Income Tax Exempt (ITE) status
- Must have an ABN.
Eligible organisations with multiple branches or office locations may also make orders for each branch separately - one order per branch per year - so planning is important to order carefully!
The DonorTec program is provided by non-profit organisation Community Information Strategies Australia Inc and is the exclusive Australian partner in the TechSoup global partnership program.
