What is this appeal for?
The Flemington & Kensington Community Legal Centre (FKCLC) is a not-for-profit organisation that exists to ensure that all people in the community have equal access to justice, are aware of and can assert their legal rights, and understand and respect the rights and responsibilities of others in the community.

How will the funds be used?

Your support will be used to continue the important work of the Centre in addressing legal issues of concern to our community, including young people's issues, police powers, and understanding of legal issues by people from non-English-speaking backgrounds.

Donations also help the Centre better support our volunteers, who participate in all areas of our organisation, from answering phones to lobbying for law reform. In the future, it is hoped that our fundraising efforts will enable us to employ a dedicated part-time Volunteer Coordinator to help support our wonderful volunteers.
