Gay & Lesbian 'Switched On' Appeal

What is this appeal for?

Gay and Lesbian Switchboard (Victoria) Inc is a volunteer organisation which provides a telephone counselling, referral and information service.

Switchboard's service is free, anonymous, and confidential. Our phones are staffed by trained volunteer counsellors who are themselves gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. We need your donation for the ongoing support and development of Gay and Lesbian Switchboard (Victoria) telephone couselling service to both Melbourne and rural Victoria.

How will the funds be used?

To Train, develop and maintain our telephone counsellors.

Key areas of expenditure for funds donated:

Training Program for new and existing counsellors.
