Gluepot Reserve Foundation Gluepot Reserve Foundation
By: Birds Australia Gluepot Reserve

What is this appeal for?
The Gluepot Reserve Foundation has been established to ensure the long-term financial viability of Australia's largest community owned and managed conservation reserve.

The capital will remain inviolate and the interest earned annually will be used to finance the annual operating budget of approx $50,000 per annum.

How will the funds be used?

It costs approx $50,000 p.a to run the Reserve. All of these funds are presently raised from pledges and donations. A sum of $10,000 p.a is our only assured income and we receive this from the Bureau of Meteorology for the operation of the Reserve's weather station. As the Reserve is managed and operated entirely by volunteers all monies raised go directly into the operation of the Reserve - there are no salaries paid.

Key areas of expenditure for funds donated:
  • all monies raised go directly into the operation of the Reserve
Is this appeal tax deductible? Yes
Will I receive a receipt for my donation? Yes, though it will be delayed as it is sent by Birds Australia Gluepot Reserve
