What is this appeal for?

To establish a family centre for Autism Gold Coast Inc that will enable this organisation to provide family support services to those whose lives are touched by Autism and Aspergers.

We are seeking to form community partnerships with companies who are able to provide funds and/or donation of services, to enable us to serve our local disability community.

How will the funds be used?

We need funds to renovate a house which we are leasing from Gold Coast City Council in Cascade Gardens, Broadbeach.

Key areas of expenditure for funds donated:

  • Building materials for complete internal refit, following removal of asbestos
  • Air conditioning & insulation
  • Disability access complying to the new building code - pathways, entries/exits, bathroom
  • Fencing
  • Kitchen cabinets
  • Tiles & floor covering
  • Lighting
  • Security
  • Soft furnishings
