Seminary Building Appeal

What is this appeal for?

The Missionaries of God's Love (MGL) is an emerging consecrated group of priests, brothers and sisters dedicated to sharing in the Church's mission of the "new evangelization" initiated by Pope John Paul II and encouraged by Pope Benedict XVI.

The MGLs are radically committed to living the Gospel and have already had a great deal of success attracting young people to vocations. With an increasing number of seminarians, the MGLs have outgrown their existing facilities in Burwood, Victoria, and urgently need to build an additional seminary house. The MGLs take a vow of radical poverty and depend entirely on the providence of God.

The Church is in great need of more holy priests and the MGLs seek to form its young seminarians in a genuine life of holiness with the fire to evangelize. The MGLs trust that the Lord will inspire many to contribute to the MGL Seminary Building Appeal and share in this vital work for the Church.

How will the funds be used?
Funds donated will be used to build a new MGL seminary in Burwood, Victoria, to accommodate and educate an increasing number of seminarians.
