The Migrant Information Centre (MIC) is a not for profit company providing practical assistance refugees and migrants to successfully settle in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
This work includes helping the families to locate housing, enroll the children in school and the adults in English language classes, use public transport, understand the local service system eg. doctors, driving licenses, police, legal system and access furniture and clothing.
Why are you collecting funds?
A component of the work of the Migrant Information Centre is to help refugee and humanitarian families to successfully settle in Australia. We are collecting funds to assist our work in this area.
How will the funds be used?
To provide direct support for recently arrived refugees and migrants in necessitous circumstances. 100% of donated funds are used for this purpose.
