Help us build the Diamond Creek Stadium

The Diamond Creek Stadium is a community led initiative and a high priority for our local community. This facility will address an unmet demand for sports and performance facilities in the Shire of Nillumbik.

The stadium will be located between the Diamond Creek East Primary School and Diamond Valley Secondary College and will include:

• multi-use design incorporating performance/auditorium space to be used by education, sports and community groups
  
• three multi-purpose sports courts
  
• retractable seating for 900
  
• Olympic standard gymnastics space
  
• café and reception areas
  
• office space, change and toilet facilities
  
• storage
  
• viewing/programming areas and community meeting space.

The $10.3 million project has widespread community backing and joint support from each level of government.

We have 90 per cent of the funds needed to get the stadium built with contributions from:

• Nillumbik Shire Council: $3.3 million
  
• Australian Government: $3.5 million
  
• Victorian Government: $2.5 million

But we need your help to raise the final $1 million.
