What is this appeal for?
Prahran Mission offers assistance and support to the most disadvantaged people in the community, people who are disadvantaged by a mental illness, low-income, homelessness and other disabilities.

We provide food, clothing, household goods and low-cost meals as part of our emergency relief services for people and families in financial crisis. For people with a mental illness, Prahran Mission offers services in rehabilitation, job placement and job training.

How will the funds be used?
As outlined in the key areas of expenditure.

Key areas of expenditure for funds donated:
  • Emergency Relief - food and material aid for people in crisis
  • Rehabilitation programs and services to support people with a mental illness in the community
  • Research and innovation in the delivery of mental health care and support programs
