What is this appeal for?
The Scout Association is seeking donations to support the delivery of the Scout Movement Program which encourages the physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual development of young people so that they take a constructive place in society as responsible citizens, and as a member of their local, national and international communities.

How will the funds be used?
Funds will be used for the maintenance and replacement of Scout facilities, purchase of equipment, running of activities including camps and funds for new uniforms.

Key areas of expenditure for funds donated:
  • Events which deliver key aspects of the Scout Program
  • Camp Overheads
  • Maintenance
  • Support for families not able to afford membership fees
