Strong Bones Appeal

What is this appeal for?

Osteoporosis Australia is raising money for Australian bone research. One in two Australian women and one in three men over the age of sixty will suffer at least one osteoporotic fracture. More research is urgently needed if we are to reduce the incidence of osteoporosis in the Australian community.

How will the funds be used?
For medical research. Osteoporosis Australia annually awards scholarships to researchers working in the field of bone.
