SYN FM General Appeal

What is this appeal for?

Launched in January 2003, SYN is proudly Melbourne's only INDEPENDENT YOUTH media organisation.

The SYN philosophy is that young people should be "creators and not consumers" of media and culture.

SYN is not directly funded by RMIT University or the Victorian state government. Instead, it relies on donations and support from the youth community and the supercharged energy of our volunteers.

Unfortunately, though, while our volunteer base is energetic, they are not rich. We need your help to continue doing what we do best - engaging the Melbourne youth community and making innovative media.
