Over 90% of the material in these mobiles and batteries, ie metals and plastics can be extracted and made into new products. MobileMuster is the official recycling program of the mobile phone industry and is a free service to customers and retailers. Mobile Muster recycles all mobile phones, batteries and accessories.

Mobile Muster is an initiative of the Australian Telecommunications Association.

Our organisation collects donations of second hand / recycled mobile phones for our clients in our youth and family homelessness services. We offer support to clients from the Eastern Metropolitan region of Melbourne (City of Whitehorse and surrounds). Quite frequently we have been unable to contact clients quickly when an offer of crisis accommodation becomes available as they have now phone contact.
