What is this appeal for?

Wildlife Victoria operates Victoria’s largest and most comprehensive 24 hour, wildlife rescue network WILDLINE . The Wildline network is utilised by government departments, zoos and sanctuaries, veterinarians, councils, police and other emergency services and the general community.

Please make a donation to ensure the continued work of Wildlife Victoria in facilitating the care of imjured, sick and orphaned wildlife in Victoria.

WILDLINE operators are trained to deal with all manner of wildlife rescue calls. From the rescue of orphaned ducklings to the rescue of injured adult kangaroos.

Help us Keep Wildline Running!

We attend to over 8000-wildlife rescue calls per annum, such as stranded or injured dolphins and seals, wildlife affected by oil spills or bushfires, threatened species, illegal wildlife activities, orphaned possums, kangaroos, koalas, birds and other general wildlife calls from the community. We have an established comprehensive system to respond to all manner of wildlife rescue calls and utilise an extensive network of volunteers, government agencies, zoos, emergency services, and private commercial operators.

When you call the WILDLINE on 0500 540 000 you will be put in touch with one of our experienced WILDLINE operators, who will refer you to the nearest licensed wildlife shelter, or depending on the type of rescue, may organise and instigate a Wildlife Victoria rescue.
