Give a Space

Have you ever considered that the front window of your house or business could be of great value to the local community?

If you have space to offer to community artists, up-coming crafters or other social businesses we encourage you to list it here. Give a Space can broker a dialogue between you and the person with wares to share, public art to promote -or whatever takes your fancy. You can then work out the details of the arrangement -independent from Yarra City Council. Someone might put a sculpture and list their website in your window for a month -or display some hand felted scarves with an email address -it's up to you. What a way to make your window memorable!

Give a Space encourages Yarra community groups who may be looking for a free space to run meetings or to display shop front window installations.

Give a Space also gives local Yarra businesses the opportunity to donate available space for use by community groups where appropriate.

Please note that the Give a Space booking service is offered as a free service to help businesses and community groups make connections. Neither the venue nor the individuals expressing an interest in those vacancies, are screened by Our Community or Yarra City Council for suitability.
