Yarra Volunteer Support Program

The Yarra Volunteer Support Program has been established to support, extend and sustain volunteer participation in the City of Yarra. The program is working to:

• Support existing community organisations and groups that engage volunteers with advice and assistance on best practice methods for recruitment, retention and ongoing support of volunteers
• Support new community organisations and groups that wish to engage volunteers with advice and assistance on best practice methods for effective volunteer program establishment and management
• Link current and prospective volunteers with community organisations and groups wherever possible
• Establish networks between existing and new community organisations and groups to share information, resources and volunteers
