On behalf of everyone at Our Community and the Australian Institute of Grants Management (AIGM), we want to thank all the delegates who joined us at the 2016 AIGM Grantmaking in Australia Conference.
Between 150 and 200 grantmakers from right across the funding spectrum gathered in Melbourne over the past two days to hear about the "disruptions" - both current and impending - that will affect grantmaking.
In addition to hearing from great speakers - including Kate Carruthers, Rebekah Forman and Our Community's own Kathy Richardson - and enjoying some informative concurrent sessions, we were thrilled to gather delegates' thoughts and opinions as part of a number of interactive sessions - including well-received and very chatty Table Hotspots.
In the coming week or so, delegates will be receiving links to presentations from the conference - including PowerPoint presentations and selected transcripts.
We will also send out to delegates a link to our online feedback form for the conference. We'd invite you to fill it in and let us know your thoughts.
Finally, summaries from the 10 Table Hotspots will be compiled, with lessons extracted for the next edition of the AIGM's Grants Management Intelligence newsletter. This edition is scheduled for sometime during April.
So, keep an eye on your email inboxes! And again we wish to thank all delegates for joining us, contributing, sharing their wisdom and helping make the 2016 AIGM conference the most successful we've staged.
The AIGM believes that "none of us is smarter than all of us", and events like this conference encourage all grantmakers to strive to be the best they can be.
