Birrigan Gargle Local Aboriginal Land Council commits itself and will demonstrate values that are considered and desired as qualities for the Goorie Members associated with the Birrigan Gargle Local Aboriginal Land Council.

Through the achievements of:

>Implementing Housing Opportunities to our members.

We will seek funding from External Bodies/Agencies. So that our members will be Socially & Econcomically Self Sufficient.

We will protect & oreserve as Traditional Ownersd od the Lower Clarence our Hunting, Fishing & Gathering Rights as part of our local history and ensure the Survival of the Yaegl Aboriginal Culture.

Recent Accomplishments of Birrigan Gargle Local Aboriginal Land Council:

Birrigan Gargle Local Aborigial Land Council were last year's recipients at the Regional & State Levels. The Award presented to Birrigan Gargle LALC is known as the NSW Clean Beach Challange Awards.

The Council were successful in attaing funding from the Department of Land & Water Conservation for Caring For Country. The funding was expended on materials for ther preservation and conservation of native vegetation within the local Aboriginal Community situated in Yamba NSW.
