Recent Accomplishments of 3ZZZ:

May 2005: 3ZZZ employed an Assistant Manager/Policy Development Officer, who is responsible for attracting new and emerging communities and young people into the station, and supporting them as they establish programs.

2004 - 2005: 3ZZZ formed a partnership with Crime Stoppers Victoria in order to support their multilingual campaign. The project saw the facilitation of 3ZZZ volunteers to create community service announcements in 21 languages, distributed to Victorian ethnic broadcasters. The result was fantastic and Crime Stoppers Victoria were very pleased with what was produced.

2004: 3ZZZ was the location for the launch of the Victorian State Government's Multicultural Policies. The Premier and other Ministers as well as representatives from Multicultural Victoria and ethnic agencies and community groups were present for the live-to-air launch.

2003: The station commenced a multicultural youth program ‘Polyfonix', where young people discuss cultural, inter-faith and other issues that affect young people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. As well as servicing the needs of young listeners, the program has also been an affective tool for training young broadcasters.

2003: As a result of a grant from the Australian Music Radio Airplay Project (AMRAP), 3ZZZ proudly produced 2 CDs called "Routes of Rhythm". The CDs featured music from Australian-based musicians from a variety of cultures. The CDs were distributed throughout the country and received airplay, particularly on community radio.
