To provide strays and unwanted animals with a second chance at life.

To educate the public on the importance of microchipping and desexing their pets

To provide animals with loving and caring foster homes in the interim

The Intent of Albury Wodonga Animal Rescue:

To rescue and rehome unwanted dogs and cats in the Albury Wodonga and surrounding areas. We rescue animals from the Albury City Pound, as well as surrendered animals from members of the public and place them in foster homes until a suitable permanent home is found for them.

All vet work such as microchipping, desexing, vaccinations, flea and worming treatments are attended to prior to the animal going to their new home.

Recent Accomplishments of Albury Wodonga Animal Rescue:

    • We have formed a committee

    • We have successfully become a charitable organisation

    • We have entrenched our name and purpose into the community through media campaigns
