Our Board Secretary plays a critical role in facilitating Board organisation, communication and diligence through overseeing management of our memberships, record keeping including meeting minutes and actions, organising our Board meetings including our AGM, and ensuring association compliance with our organisation's Rules and legal requirements. Our Secretary also has an integral role in our team driving our vision and strategy to empower Aspergers further build a sustainable not for profit.
Your commitment will include eight Board meetings per annum in Melbourne’s CBD or South East, in evenings bimonthly as well as involvement in one of our Board committees and completing tasks with the role.
Experience with Boards and suitable governance qualifications are required, with strong communication and organisation skills, contact network and lived experience of Aspergers.
