The Club's council is looking for general board members to fulfil a variety of roles as they arise, including but not limited to membership officer, general meeting officer, journal editor, excursion officer, treasurer and any tasks that require some council intervention. Specifically a general board member should actively further the aims and objectives of the club and be able to work with like-minded people/volunteers. Assistance with the role will be provided by existing council members. Council members may spend up to 4 hours a week on board duties, outside of attending monthly meetings and/or excursions.

The Club is run by and for volunteers. Some existing knowledge of matters relevant to natural history, nature and not-for-profit organisations would be a bonus. The positions are available for a minimum of 12 months.
