Express an Interest

Targeting:

We’re calling for expressions of interest for people interested in taking on the role of Learning for Life Board Secretary. This is not a Board role but the Secretary will work closely with the Board and will be a highly valued member of the governance team. 

The Board Secretary complies with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements and supports Learning for Life Autism Centre (L4Life) to maintain high standards of governance by ensuring that Board processes run efficiently and effectively.

This volunteer role will be best suited to candidates who:
– share our vision of a world where autistic and all neurodivergent people can thrive and live the life they choose
– are enthusiastic and values-led aligning with our purpose to support autistic and and other neurodivergent children to develop skills that promote independence and choice.
-have excellent verbal and written communication skills
– work well with people at all levels
– possess excellent attention to detail and a well-organised approach to work
– have an understanding of governance issues
– are proficient in Microsoft 365
– are flexible and driven

In return, you’ll work closely with, and learn from, professionals with varied backgrounds and skills; be part of a community with a focus on supporting autistic and other neurodivergent children to develop skills that promote independence and choice; meet and engage with our L4Life Village.
