Board Director Recruitment 2024 (2 vacancies)

Expressions of Interest are sought from people interested in being considered as Directors on the Board of Hobart City Mission Inc. (HCM)

The EOI should include the following–

  • Qualifications
  • Relevant experience including Board memberships, Management positions
  • A statement of your interest in HCM
  • Skills, attributes and qualities you would bring to the HCM Board
  • A current resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • A completed Skills Matrix (see attached form)

 

The Board have identified the following skill/experience areas that would be valued additions to the Board skill profile at this time.

  • Community Sector knowledge including disability, homelessness, and welfare issues generally
  • Fundraising
  • Government agency operations, policy and grant processes

Preference will be given to local Tasmanian based candidates.

Assessment

EOIs will be assessed by a Recruitment team of Directors and a short list prepared.

Short listed candidates will meet with the team to discuss their interest and to give an opportunity to ask questions about the role and the appointment process.

The Board will consider recommendations for approval.  Up to two appointments may be made.
