Endo Articles is a pioneering non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness, building community, and providing support to young people living with endometriosis. Through a range of activities, including our annual retreat, monthly events and digital resources, we aim to enhance the lives of those affected by endometriosis and to advance awareness of the condition. To date, we have approximately 1000 registered Members across Australia, and run established programs in 4 States. As we navigate through a period of significant growth, we are seeking to expand our board of directors to include individuals who can contribute to our mission with passion, insight, and strategic vision.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Oversee and guide the organization's growth, ensuring that it continues to operate in alignment with its mission and values.
  • Engage in fundraising and networking activities to secure financial support for the organization.
  • Act as an ambassador for Endo Articles, promoting its activities and advocating for endometriosis awareness.
  • Participate in board meetings and provide thoughtful input on decisions affecting the organization's future.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in directorship roles within non-profits, charities, or similar organizations is highly preferred.
  • A strong commitment to the mission of Endo Articles and a desire to make a positive impact in the field of health awareness and support.
  • Specific skill sets that would be highly valued include expertise in non-profit governance, financial management, fundraising, public relations, healthcare, or research.
  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • The ability to commit time for board meetings, strategic planning sessions, and other responsibilities.
