Brown's Mart is the trading name of Brown's Mart Arts Ltd, a public not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, led by a voluntary Board of Directors whose responsibilities are defined under the Corporations Act 2002. We aim to recruit Directors who have a relevant skills and expertise and are connected to local networks and the diverse performing arts interests of our community.
Opearating on Larrakia country as the 'home of Territory performing arts', Brown's Mart delivers a year-round arts program centred in collaboration, innovation and energy. In and beyond our multiple performance spaces, we create and present contemporary performance works which engage with many communities and art forms. We champion new work and new voices from the Northern Territory through residencies, creative developments and presentations, and have done this since 1972.
