ABOUT COMPACT
COMPACT stands for young people. We are a youth career development organisation. Through the delivery of quality targeted programs, we connect people, education and workplaces to help young people reach their goals and to help grow Riverina-Murray industries.

COMPACT is well-connected across our large geographic footprint. The greatest value and strength we bring to our  stakeholders as an organisation is the strong ties we develop and maintain with schools, industry and community. No other organisation in our region is better placed to do what we do. COMPACT is a future-focused organisation. We look ahead and stay across education and industry trends to ensure our communities can take advantage of upcoming opportunities.

We help grow Riverina Murray industries by being an advocate for business among young people. We let young people know what job opportunities exist in the region and provide professional development opportunities for teachers, so they have a good understanding of the industries in the region and their needs. Through our work placement and career development programs,
we help develop job-ready young people to work in local industries. We also work with businesses to identify and fill skills gaps.

With more than 30 years’ experience in offering a range of Government funded and fee for service programs and services, we have a rich history of connecting young people to the workforce. We respond to school and industry needs, delivering work placement, employability skills and tailored career and wellbeing programs, while offering the highest levels of support to young people, business owners and industry.

COMPACT has integrity. As an organisation, we stay true to our values. We develop authentic relationships built on trust and respect and stay focused on facilitating mutually beneficial outcomes.

As a not for profit, Incorporated Association (ABN 635 274 859), we are governed by a volunteer Board, representing our Vision, Mission and Values. The Board's responsibility is to provide overall governance, fiduciary responsibility and strategy for the future. The Board employs an Executive Officer to deliver on the organisation's strategic priorities and to achieve our Vision: 'Connecting people, education, community and the workplace to promote successful futures.'
