Positive Solutions has been operating in Tasmania for over 30 years providing expert mediation, counselling and workplace services, including Employee Assistance Programs across the state.

The past three years have seen significant growth with the organisation undergoing strategic changes in structure, operations and culture.

The Board of Positive Solutions is a very proactive, engaged and motivated group of professionals, and the Board meetings are highly constructive and productive. 

We are now seeking to appoint up to two (2) new Board members seeking to join our amazing Board.  We are looking for people who are willing to serve in a voluntary capacity to contribute to the good governance and overall strategic management of the organisation.

We are seeking a professional who ideally has:

  1. An interest in, experience and/or background in mental health, mediation, marketing, financial management, or the community sector.
  2. An understanding and appreciation of corporate governance principles.
  3. High positive energy, enthusiasm and a willingness to contribute and engage with the functions of the Board. 
  4. Capacity to devote time and energy to the role (approximately 5 hours per month)
  5. A valid Working with Vulnerable Person check.

Board meetings are held once a month in Hobart with opportunity to join these meetings via online platforms.
