Board Secretary (Executive Director Role) – UpCycle CQ Inc.

UpCycle CQ Inc. seeks a values-aligned individual to join our Executive Director team as Secretary — the third cornerstone role supporting our grassroots mission to renew, repurpose, and recast community value-add through circular economy innovation.

Preparations are underway for the first Annual General Meeting. The role is foundational and suits someone eager to contribute to a movement that's as hands-on as it is visionary.

Essentail roles and responsibilities

• Record and distribute minutes for board and general meetings.
• Maintain member registers and ensure governance compliance.
• Support policy upkeep, document control, and timely communication.
• Collaborate on board agendas and formal meeting notices.
• Be a voting member of the Executive Board, registered with ASIC.

The position is suited to a person who:

• Has great attention to detail and document accuracy.
• Communicates clearly and reliably in writing.
• Is well-organized and deadline conscious.
• Brings discretion and integrity to all matters.
• Understands or is willing to learn basic board governance.

• A vital interest in hands-on work, open-source innovation, and enabling circular economy initiatives that renew both resources and lives.

Note: The position requires formal registration as a director under ASIC guidelines. Prior experience is welcomed but not essential — commitment, energy and enthusiasm is sought over credentials.
