Seeking Board and external Committee members to support our Clinical Governance , service operations for people with disability
· Service planning, service models and evaluation
· Clinical governance frameworks
· Clinical systems and risks
· Clinical performance indicators
· Clinical incidents, and
· Quality systems
Key Responsibilities and Performance Requirements
· Provide advice on and monitor implementation of service planning and service models
· Provide advice on and monitor implementation of the clinical governance framework
· Review, consider and discuss trends relating to subject matter
· Monitor the performance and reporting of the internal clinical audit workplan
· Review and monitor clinical performance indicators against agreed targets
· Review the effectiveness of identifying and escalating clinical risks, particularly strategic clinical risks
· Review and monitor clinical incident and consumer feedback reports and ensure action is taken to address areas of concern
· Ensure appropriate policies and systems are in place to meet compliance and accreditation requirements
· Analyse performance/audit/incident data, with a focus on quality improvement and risk reduction
· Recommend actions for the improvement of quality and safety in client services, and
· Provide a sounding board for strategic service delivery and clinical issues.
