Precious Angels In-Home Care is currently seeking expressions of interest from passionate and skilled professionals to join our Board of Directors. As a registered NDIS provider and charity, we are committed to delivering exceptional disability support services that make a genuine difference in the lives of children, young people, and families.

To support our continued growth and strong governance, we are seeking new board members with experience in one or more of the following areas:

💉 Registered Nurse / Allied Health

To provide clinical insight into service delivery, complex care needs, and best practice in disability and community health.

  • Understanding of NDIS Practice Standards (especially High Intensity Supports)

  • Knowledge of safeguarding, restrictive practices, and risk mitigation in clinical settings

💰 Finance & NFP/NDIS Financial Governance

To strengthen the board’s oversight of financial sustainability and reporting.

  • Experience with NDIS pricing, budgeting, and financial compliance

  • Familiarity with charity financial reporting and ACNC obligations

  • Strategic financial planning, forecasting, and investment analysis

🧩 Governance & Strategic Planning

To guide organisational performance, compliance, and long-term direction.

  • Board or executive-level experience in NFP governance

  • Understanding of risk, legal obligations, and strategic development

  • Experience in transformational change and organisational development

🧠 Human Resources & Workforce Culture

To support a strong, values-driven workforce culture and support sector challenges.

  • NFP/NDIS HR leadership or advisory experience

  • Workforce planning, recruitment, performance, and industrial relations

  • Experience supporting psychologically safe, trauma-informed workplaces

🔁 Quality, Risk & Continuous Improvement

To embed a culture of learning, accountability, and excellence in service delivery.

  • Experience with audit, risk frameworks, incident management

  • Understanding of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements

  • Passion for continuous improvement and client-centered outcomes

Board Member Responsibilities

All board members are expected to:

  • Contribute to strategic direction and organisational oversight

  • Attend bi-monthly board meetings (remote options available)

  • Support governance, fiduciary, and compliance responsibilities

  • Advocate for the mission and uphold the values of Precious Angels

  • Bring their professional expertise to board discussions and decisions
