Volunteer Board Treasurer Opportunity Meals on Wheels Central Coast, part of One Direct Connect Limited, is a respected not-for-profit organisation serving elderly and vulnerable community members across the Central Coast. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Volunteer Board Treasurer to join our Board and lead the financial governance of our growing organisation.

As a registered NDIS provider offering not only meal delivery but also critical social support services, our impact goes far beyond food. The Treasurer plays a vital role in ensuring financial sustainability and governance integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial oversight and governance across the organisation

- Prepare and present monthly Treasurer's Reports to the Board

- Chair or contribute to the Finance & Risk Governance Committee

- Work closely with the CEO and finance team on budgeting and financial planning

- Support strategic decisions with strong financial insights

- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and accounting standards

- Attend bi-monthly Board meetings in-person (Central Coast), with occasional workshops

Ideal Candidate:

- CPA, CA, or equivalent financial qualification highly regarded

- Strong background in accounting, financial management, and compliance

- Governance experience and understanding of audit obligations

- Demonstrated commitment to community service or the not-for-profit sector

- Knowledge of aged care, disability, or NDIS is highly desirable

- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a governance setting
