Meals on Wheels Central Coast, part of One Direct Connect Limited, is a respected not-for-profit organisation serving elderly and vulnerable community members across the Central Coast. We are currently seeking a committed and skilled Volunteer Board Director to join our Board and contribute to the strategic leadership of our growing organisation.

As a registered NDIS provider offering not only meal delivery but also essential social support, our impact extends far beyond food. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in aged care, disability services (NDIS), and customer experience-though all strong governance candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic direction and oversight as a non-executive Board member

- Participate in bi-monthly Board meetings (in-person, Central Coast), and occasional workshops

- Serve on relevant sub-committees where appropriate

- Support the mission, values, and strategic goals of the organisation

- Apply sector insights and lived experience to support inclusive, responsive services

Ideal Candidate:

- Demonstrated understanding of governance, compliance, and Board responsibilities- Experience in aged care, NDIS, or customer experience highly regarded

- Passionate about supporting vulnerable community members

- Collaborative, curious, and values-driven mindset

- Previous Board or leadership experience in the community or for-purpose sector desirable
