This is an exciting time for St Martins as we reap the fruits of rigorous company development and lay down future-ready foundations. In recent years we have invested in our team, expanded our capacity, amped up our artistic bravery, forged a solid business plan and are now reinvigorating our Board to take us boldly into the second half of this decade.

St Martins’ new Strategic Plan is a vibrant blueprint for an ambitious living and breathing vision.

We are committed to building a diverse reach, work team and Board and strongly encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.

Bold, disruptive and contemporary

At St Martins, we believe that every child deserves the chance to explore, to create, to grow, to belong – to shine. An incubator of creativity and a stomping ground for young and emerging artists, St Martins is one of Australia’s leading companies working collaboratively with young people aged 5-18 to create bold, disruptive, contemporary theatre for adult audiences.

St Martins Youth Arts Centre is now seeking expressions of interest from suitably passionate, aligned and qualified individuals to join our volunteer Board of directors. We are presently on a drive to expand the Board, to invite and access fresh ideas, to strengthen and over time, generate succession.

St Martins is one of Australia’s key youth theatre organisations, with over 45 years of history developing high-quality, original, award-winning theatre productions with young people. St Martins has a long track record of producing writers, performers, directors, designers, stage managers, technicians and arts managers who are an important part of Australia’s vibrant arts community and have worked nationally and internationally at key cultural institutions and events.
