Position Description

Seeking Board Members x 2Cause | Culture | CreativityThe FunHaus Factory (DGR Registered Charity) Board is seeking two dynamic new members to strengthen our leadership team:1. TreasurerWe’re seeking a hands-on financial leader who can guide our financial strategy and oversight.As Treasurer, you’ll ensure the organisation meets its financial, legal, and compliance obligations while working closely with the Co-Chairs and Artistic Director on practical management.You’ll help demystify financial information for the Board, empowering confident, informed decision-making.Ideal background:Senior finance experience (Accountant, CFO, Financial Controller or equivalent)Governance knowledge relevant to NFPs and charitiesExperience with MYOB or similar accounting softwareUnderstanding of payroll, GST, and reporting obligationsStrong strategic, analytical, and influencing skills2. Founded in 2018, FunHaus Factory (FHF) is the Central Coast’s leading contemporary multi-arts and culture organisation — a registered charity and social enterprise now in its seventh year of shaping regional revitalisation through creativity, inclusion, and innovation.Our work spans festivals, live performance, youth engagement, and creative industries training, providing paid employment and pathways for artists and individuals from underrepresented communities. By reactivating Gosford’s city centre through arts and culture, we’re proving that creativity can drive both social cohesion and economic renewal.As we enter our next phase of growth, we’re still focused on strengthening governance, financial sustainability, and philanthropic partnerships to scale our impact.
