Desert Knowledge Australia (DKA) invites expressions of interest from individuals who wish to contribute to strategic leadership and governance as members of its Board.

 

About DKA

  • Drive solutions for desert sustainability, including in energy, water, climate, workforce development, and economic growth.
  • Build partnerships across community, industry, and government.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking Board members who can bring skills, experience, and commitment in areas such as:

  • Governance and leadership
  • Aboriginal culture and community development
  • Education, training, and workforce development
  • Remote service delivery and regional engagement
  • Renewable energy, climate adaptation, and sustainability
  • Business, finance, law, or risk management
  • Economic development and innovation

 

We strongly encourage nominations from Aboriginal people, women, younger leaders, and people with diverse backgrounds.

 

Eligibility

To be eligible for nomination or membership on the Board, you need to be a member of DKA’s society of participants by joining the DKA Network mailing list. (Refer to s13 (2) and s14 of the DKA Act 2003)
