Help guide the future of OCD WA. OCD WA is a volunteer-run not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting people affected by Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder and their families through education, advocacy, and community connection.
We are currently seeking a Volunteer Treasurer to join our Board and contribute to the financial governance of the organisation. This is an opportunity to apply your financial or accounting skills to a meaningful cause, working alongside a passionate team committed to improving awareness and access to support for OCD in Western Australia.
Key responsibilities

Oversee and report on the organisation’s financial position at monthly board meetings

Prepare annual financial statements and assist with the audit process

Manage online banking, payments, and reimbursements

Support the preparation of grant budgets and funding acquittals

Ensure compliance with ATO, ACNC, and state association requirements
Skills and experience

Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management (qualification desirable but not essential)

Familiarity with MYOB, Xero, or similar software is an advantage

Understanding of governance in small not-for-profits or willingness to learn

Attention to detail, reliability, and alignment with OCD WA’s mission and values
Commitment

Approximately 2–4 hours per month

Attendance at monthly board meetings (hybrid options available, OCD WA is based in Perth, applications welcome from people Australia wide)

Term of appointment: from the December 2025 AGM
