The Irish Australian Support Association of Queensland is seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to join our Board as Ordinary Board Members. If you care about supporting the Irish community in Queensland and want to contribute your skills, experience, and heart to a charity that genuinely changes lives, we’d love to hear from you.

IASAQ provides vital support to Irish individuals and families facing hardship, crisis, or isolation. As an IASAQ Board Member, you’ll help guide this mission by contributing to discussions, offering your expertise, and supporting the organisation’s growth and sustainability.

What the role involves:

  • Actively participating in Board meetings and contributing to collective decision-making

  • Bringing your perspective, skills, and passion to strengthen IASAQ’s work

  • Supporting good governance while keeping community needs at the centre

  • Assisting with events, fundraising efforts, and advocacy where possible

  • Being an ambassador for IASAQ within your networks and the wider community

This role suits someone who wants to give back in a meaningful way, collaborate with a supportive team, and play a part in shaping the future of a charity that has long stood beside Irish Australians in Queensland.
