Purpose: Every child, with disabilities and additional needs, their family and community, receive the help they need. the early comprehensive supports they need.

Vision: Children of all abilities, thrive with their families in inclusive communities.

Values: Respectful – Responsive – Inclusive – Trusted

EarlyEd is a responsive and innovative organisation committed to delivering services that reflect best practice developments in the disability, allied health and early childhood intervention sectors and support the inclusion of all children of all abilities and their families in community life.

EarlyEd has been operational under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for many years but also attracts funding from government departments and innovative grants.

Established for over 45 years EarlyEd is committed to delivering best practices in early childhood intervention. They do this by creating a team around the child with a disability or delay in development and their family. The team will include allied health professionals and educators who have the expertise to support the child and family’s particular needs. This might be a speech pathologist, occupational therapist, special educator, physiotherapist and /or behaviour therapists. Particular services such as our supported playgroups are able to support families out in the community to receive help when they first become concerned about their child’s development. Other services focus on building community awareness of the need to commence early childhood intervention as early as possible in a child’s life and the importance for all children of receiving early childhood educational experiences.

EarlyEd has two main offices with centres across the Western and Northern Sydney areas. Staff are based at Merrylands, Kingswood, North Sydney and Forestville and have developed strong connections with their local communities.

The organisation has staff employed to support all aspects of the business though most are early childhood intervention staff delivering services in a family’s home, at childcare or preschool, school or in the community. Maintaining and developing staff professional expertise and their understanding of the needs of families particularly those who have a child with a diagnosed disability is a key feature of our professional development program and our culture.
