About the Board & Governance
The Lumina Project Ltd is a registered Australian charity governed by an experienced Board committed to ethical, trauma-informed and ACNC-compliant governance.
The organisation was founded by bereaved parents and is grounded in lived experience, evidence-based practice, and strong governance safeguards. Robust conflict-of-interest and related-party policies are in place, with independent directors leading all conflicted decisions.
Board meetings are held bi-monthly, with a mix of online and occasional face-to-face meetings in Victoria. Meeting times are scheduled with flexibility to accommodate directors’ professional commitments.
This is a meaningful opportunity for independent directors to contribute strategic oversight during an early growth phase and to help shape a national organisation advocating for compassionate systems of support for bereaved families.
