Connection Arts Space currently has vacancies on its governing Board. Could this be you?

Connection Arts Space (CAS) is a not-for-profit arts organisation serving the Greater Dandenong community. As a team, the CAS Board provides leadership for the organisation’s strategic direction, supports governance and board processes, builds strong relationships with the Committee, and advances our mission of making the arts accessible, relevant, and sustainable.

No prior board experience is required. We are particularly interested in people with skills or experience in strategic planning, leadership, finance, law, and human resource management.

This is a voluntary role. We are ideally seeking a minimum commitment of three years, with attendance at bi-monthly Board meetings. While three years may seem like a long commitment, it allows Board members the time and space to build meaningful plans and see them through. We also understand that life happens, and we will check in regularly to ensure the role continues to work alongside people’s changing circumstances.

There is also opportunity for Board members to mentor and support the CAS team, which we see as a valuable and rewarding part of the journey.

We especially welcome applicants who are connected to Melbourne’s south-east, come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and identify as women and/or gender diverse.
