Board Director Opportunity | Help Build Australia’s Next Great Charity
We are seeking an experienced Board Director to join the foundational board of The Sneaker Rescue, a small but powerful not for profit supporting women and children affected by domestic, family and gender based violence through dignity, movement, and active wellbeing in recovery.
The hard work of establishment has been done. The Sneaker Rescue is set up, foundational governance frameworks are in place, and the organisation is now entering its initial growth phase. We are looking for a board member who wants to help shape what comes next and take an active role in building a charity with national potential.
This is a rare opportunity to build something meaningful while also building your own legacy. You will work closely with, and mentor, a passionate and proven founder with strong energy, credibility, and connections, alongside volunteers and advisors who are committed and eager to learn.
This role will suit an experienced board member who enjoys guiding emerging organisations, strengthening governance, and helping people grow into their roles. You will have genuine influence and the opportunity to co design the future direction of a new Australian charity.
The role is volunteer based, with an estimated commitment of around two hours per week.
If you want to make a tangible difference to women and children in crisis, contribute your deep board experience where it truly matters, and be part of something with momentum, purpose, and heart, we would love to hear from you.
This is more than a board role. It is a chance to help build something that lasts.
Once you have filled in the following form, your details will be emailed directly to The Sneaker Rescue.
They will contact you on the telephone number and/or email address you provide. We will not disclose your details to anyone apart from the recruiting organisation.
