Rosebud West Community Hub in Capel Sound is an independent registered charity operating within the Neighbourhood House sector. Neighbourhood Houses act as local hubs designed to bring people together, offering a welcoming space to connect, learn, and contribute. Their core purpose is to combat social isolation, enhance personal well-being, and build stronger, more inclusive communities through affordable education, social activities, and volunteering opportunities.

Following the recent resignation of our Board Chair as a result of his growing business, we are seeking a new leader for our Board of qualified and committed volunteers.  You will discover that working to support our skilled Hub Manager and Early Learning Centre Director is not only interesting and most worthwhile - and, yes, at times challenging - it is also very personally satisfying.

Having recently rebranded, with a new Strategic Plan, a highly effective Marketing Committee and being on the cusp of reporting a modest surplus for the last financial year, this is a great time to join us, bringing new energy and leadership and a passion for helping the community. 

We are seeking someone with the skills of Leadership and Diplomacy, Strategic Thinking, Communication Skills, Problem Solving, and Organisation Skills.
