Any further information about this vacancy:

The Reframe Foundation is a newly established Australian charity focused on the prevention and early recognition of domestic and family violence, with a strong emphasis on childhood education and community awareness. Our work centres on developing educational resources, children’s literature, and survivor-informed initiatives that help young people and communities recognise unhealthy relationship patterns early.

The organisation has recently obtained registration with the Australian Charities and Not‑for‑profits Commission and is currently awaiting endorsement from the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR).

We are now seeking an additional Non-Executive Director to join our founding board as the organisation transitions from establishment to operational growth.

  • Participating in board meetings and key governance decisions

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and ACNC governance standards

  • Supporting the development of policies, fundraising strategies, and community partnerships

  • Acting in the best interests of the organisation and its charitable purpose

Directors will work collaboratively with the founding board to support the charity’s early growth and governance structures.

  • Occasional additional time for governance matters or strategic discussions
