Filling the Gap provides pro bono dental treatment to vulnerable people who are unable to access mainstream oral health services. We are seeking an experienced, values-driven volunteer to join our Board of Directors, bringing expertise in fundraising and grants within the not-for-profit sector.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting the sustainability and growth of a respected charity dedicated to improving community oral health.
About the Role
As a Board Director, you will contribute strategic guidance, governance oversight, and sector expertise to support Filling the Gap’s mission. You will work collaboratively with fellow board members and the executive team to strengthen the organisation’s impact and long-term viability.
We Are Seeking Experience In:
- Fundraising strategy and implementation
- Corporate partnerships and sponsorships
- Grant identification and applications
- Strategic planning and governance (prior board experience desirable but not essential)
Time Commitment
- Five one-hour board meetings per year
- Meetings held in person or online
- Occasional out-of-session advice or support, as required
